How do I use my local or toll-free pin number?

You can give your FreeBeeps number out to others to leave you voice messages, page you and send you fax. You can pick up your messages in more than one way!

1) Go to http://www.freebeeps.com/default.asp main page log-in to your message center. Use the FreeBeeps phone number and security code you were emailed at the time of cygnet. If you have a toll-free number with an extension all you need to enter is your 4 or 5 digit extension number and security code.

From your message center you can listen to voice mail messages, check faxes, Instant Messages and Pages that have been sent to you.

Local numbers -
• Dial your pager number
• During the greeting "At the tone, please leave a message" interrupt by hitting the * key
• Enter the security code e-mailed to you at the time of sign up.
• This gives you the option to record a greeting and listen to your messages.


Toll Free w/extension -
• Dial 1-888-487-9025
• At the "welcome to message center please enter a mailbox number" enter your extension number
• At the tone please record a message and hit the * key
• At the "please enter your security code" enter the security code e-mailed to you when you signed up
• This gives you the option to record a greeting and listen to your messages.


How can I change my FreeBeeps number?

Once you have been issued a pager number, which is the number you are required to use unless you decide to upgrade to the personal toll free number. If you made a mistake during ordering and selected the wrong type of number then you can email us or call us to have it changed.


How can I get my e-mail on my pager?

To receive emails on your pager, sign up for a FreeBeeps email account and then select YES to whether or not you want to receive email notifiction on your pager.


Will the Advertisements annoy me?

NO. The Advertisements are beneficial based on your demographics and will appear on your pager's screen when you are being paged by another person. Most people find the advertisements and coupons useful in saving them money.

What if my security code doesn't work?

Did you forget it or perhaps you typed in the wrong e-mail address when you signed up? If so, you can visit www.freebeeps.com and have your security code reset.


What is the length of time for my voicemail?

Voicemail on toll-free extension numbers:
3 minute greeting and 3 minute incoming messages,
with 30 days storage!

Voicemail on local numbers:
3 minute greeting with 3 minute incoming messages,
with 30 days storage!


What If I have a problem with pager not receiving pages?

N350- Once you turn the pager on, check to see if there is an ok symbol in the upper left hand corner of pager. If you see the OK symbol the pager is powered up and should be receiving signals. If you're still not receiving pages then you need to take the battery out of the back of pager and write down the capcode number which is the littlest number on the left side and have the number ready to read to the pager technician @ 561-636-3733.

Communicator II- Once you turn the pager on, check to see if there is a circle in the upper left hand corner indicating the pager is powered up and should be receiving signal. If you're still not receiving pages then you need to have your pager handy which has the capcode written on the back and you will need to read this to the pager technician @ 561-636-3733


I want to change my existing number?

Once you have been issued a pager number, which is the number you are required to use unless you decide to upgrade to the personal toll free number that will be available soon.


Do we have a secure server?

Yes, secured by Veri-Safe.


How do I set up my voicemail?

Local numbers -
• Dial your pager number
• During the greeting "At the tone, please leave a message" interrupt by hitting the * key
• Enter the security code e-mailed to you at the time of sign up.

My credit card will not process?

Make sure you are putting double digits for the single months (i.e. 07/02)


My security code does not work. What do I do?

Your security code was e-mailed to you when you first signed up. If you no longer have your security code, you may go to our security code retrieval page located at the frequently asked questions page.


How does my pager receive text messages?

Friends and family can go on line to the FreeBeeps main page and select send a message and it will allow them to send a text message directly to your pager.
