What do I get with FreeBeeps.com?

FreeBeeps.com gives you free paging, voicemail and faxmail service for life. Not only is the service free, but you get unparalleled features that are tied in with the Internet. This includes free voicemail, faxmail, news weather and sports content, an On-line Message Center. With alphanumeric service you also get E-mail paging and customizable content delivery to your pager including headline news, stocks, business, weather, sports and horoscopes.


How is the service free?

Every time you receive a page, you are separately sent an advertisement or virtual coupon page separately. The ads are based on your demographics and will appear on the screen on the pager screen. Most people find the advertisements and coupons useful in saving them money and staying informed.


Do I have to buy anything?

No. There are three different ways that you can sign up for FreeBeeps.com service:

FreeBeeps service is local paging available in Florida. You can check for your coverage here:

During sign-up, if you notice that we do not have local numbers in your area, choose the toll-free number service with an extension. This will give you a toll-free FreeBeeps access number with a 4 or 5 digit extension number.


What do I do if my security code doesn't work?

Your security code was e-mailed to you when you first signed up. If you no longer have your security code, you may go to our security code retrieval page found at the frequently asked questions page.


Can I somehow use my own pager for FreeBeeps?

Yes, we can upgrade your existing pager to the FreeBeeps.com system. We recommend that you only do this if your existing pager is alphanumeric capable. Many of the FreeBeeps features require an alphanumeric pager to take full advantage of them.

First, go through the sign-up process but stop when you are asked to select a pager to purchase. This will create your account, issue you a FreeBeeps number, and the system will email you with your password. (This way you can begin using the service immediately, without waiting to have your pager upgraded). Now you will need to send in your pager to be upgraded. Along with the pager be sure to include your account number and your return mailing address. Please include a check or money order in the amount of $42.35 ($39.95 + tax) made payable to FreeBeeps.

Please send in your pager with a way of tracking or confirming delivery.


Be sure to reference your customer ID# number on the outside of the box.


How do I set up my voicemail?

Local numbers -
• Dial your pager number
• During the greeting "At the tone, please leave a message" interrupt by hitting the * key
• Enter the security code e-mailed to you at the time of sign up.
• This gives you the option to record a greeting and listen to your messages.


Toll Free w/extension -
• Dial 1-888-487-9025
• At the "welcome to message center please enter a mailbox number" enter your extension number
• At the tone please record a message and hit the * key
• At the "please enter your security code" enter the security code e-mailed to you when you signed up
• This gives you the option to record a greeting and listen to your messages.



How much credit do I get for my old pager?

If you ordered an alphanumeric pager from us you will receive a $10 credit toward your purchase.


Is there an activation fee?

Yes. There is a one time $10 activation fee, with no more charges ever!


How do I purchase prepaid calling minutes?

This is located in your Message Center under the Upgrade tab.


What is my pager pin number?

If you have a local pager number, it will be your entire 10-digit pager number (including area code). If you have a toll-free pin, then simply enter your 4 or 5-digit extension number.


How does my pager receive text messages?

If you upgrade to alphanumeric paging service, friends and family can go on line to the FreeBeeps main page and select "send a message" and it will allow them to send a text message directly to your pager.
